Somebody I would lean on as a resource

 The person who I know I can always turn to if need be is a close friend of mine that I used to date. This friend has been close with me throughout high school and we have been through a lot of situations together, and even though we're no longer together, we're still on great terms and I would still consider him even as close as a best friend at this point. This friend of mine, who I will call B for this, is very helpful and caring towards his friends and family. B recently had a situation with his friends where he and his friend who I will call A were spending a little time teaching their other friend who I will call J, how to drive. They needed some practice and both B and A had the experience to help them. While helping though, they got into an argument with A about how to park. This argument arose because despite B agreeing that parking the way A was suggesting just wasn't possible, A insisted otherwise until he became so frustrated he got petty and got out of the car. B decided to be the bigger person, calm everybody down a little, and suggest they all just go home so they can avoid any unnecessary conflicts and progress. This displays how B is able to care for his friends in the way he de-escalates the fight between his friends in a way that is respectful and keeps things from getting worse between them.

My sister does not like the people in our neighborhood because they're annoying

I asked my younger sister about an experience she had in our neighborhood and she told me of the time that a boy harassed her and used it as an excuse to try to get her in trouble. My sister had been walking to school as she does every morning when a boy she had never seen before came up to her and proceeded to harass her by repeatedly emphasizing that she was in HIS neighborhood and that she didn't live there because he had never seen her before. She obviously told him that she did live in our neighborhood and that he had no basis or evidence to say otherwise. During his rant he let it slip that he had actually only been living in the neighborhood for about a week, to which she responded that only living somewhere for a week wasn't an automatic indication that you own the place. My Neighborhood would be pleasant if people weren't in it.

 While taking my walk around my neighborhood, I had a change in worldview that despite not being particularly fond of my neighborhood, there are still interesting things within it. While walking through my neighborhood I found a few different places that made my neighborhood more pleasant to live in than I realized such as convenience stores, restaurants, and parks. A 10-minute walk away from my building, there is a plaza that holds a Terry Fox Way Dental, Radhani Sweets & Restaurant, and my personal favorite, Terry Fox Convenience. Terry Fox Convenience is a diverse local convenience store that holds things from Beef Jerky to instant noodles and energy drinks to Bluetooth headphones and even watches. They hold a large variety of items for reasonable prices which has led me to spend a lot of money there throughout my high school years.  About another 10-minute walk in the opposite direction brings us to another plaza.
